This website was created to honor my
great-great-great grandfather, James
William Brown of Company G, and all
those who served alongside him for
those 10 months with the 27th Maine
Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
I would love to hear from any descendants of these 27th Maine soldiers, or receive information pertaining to them. I have researched nearly all of the men, and am typing up biographies for each one. If you do not see a page for them here, please ask, as I likely have data collected for them.
