ANTHONY JACKSON was born in Portland, Maine [reg't descriptive roll; 1905 RI State Census] on 18 Feb 1844 [1905 RI Census] or 18 Jan, 1845 [VR of Kennebunk], the son of Benjamin and Margaret Ann (Minard) Jackson. His father was from England, and his mother was from Miramichi, New Brunswick [They were married in Kennebunk on 30 Nov, 1843 - rec says both were from Miramichi - VR of Kenn.]. I have not yet located death record for Anthony, but it took place after Apr 1923 [still receiving pension at this time], possibly in East Providence, RI where he had lived.

Prior to the 1870 census, he was married to
ELIZABETH (LIZZIE) [surname perhaps EMERY], who was born April, 1847 in Maine [marr rec not seen in Kennebunk vitals]. I have yet to research an exact death date for her, or burial place, but she was in E.Providence in 1900.
Except for the 1880 Rehoboth, Bristol Co,MA census (where he was listed as working in the cotton mill), Anthony was known as a ship carpenter, the same profession as was his father, and lived in Kennebunk until the 1870's, when he moved to Massachusetts, and afterwards [by 1890] to East Providence, RI.

Three children were born unto Anthony and Lizzie, all likely while they lived in Kennebunk, though no birth rec's are found in vital records for this town:

I.
GEORGE B was perhaps born around July, 1868 and died on 17 June, 1869 at age 11 mos,7 das in Kennebunk, ME [VR of Kenn]. He is buried in an Emery plot in Home Cemetery, Kennebunk [YCCI, pg 900].

II
GEORGIA, born in Feb, 1870 [age 4/12 - 1870 census]. Seen with family in 1880 Rehoboth at age 10, I don't see a marriage record for her in either MA or RI vital records, so whereabouts after this census is currently unknown.

III
FRANK EMERY was born on 16 May, 1875 in ME [WWI Draft Card]. He moved with parents to East Providence, RI and was living there through the 1930 census [44 Cole St]. His wife was LUCY LYDIA [surname not known at time], who was born in RI around Jan, 1876 [1900 census]. They had married circa 1897 [3 years in 1900] He was a machinist, working for Brown + Sharpe Manuf. Co. of Providence [draft card, census rec's]. They had at least 5 children [1910+1920 censuses]:
1. Grace B, born May 1897. She married a Forrest and was a widow by 1920, with children Doris, Norman, and Frank E in her parents 1920 household.
2 + 3. two daughters, aged ?8 and 5 in 1910 census, names hard to read, neither with parents in 1920
4. Sarah M, aged 3 in 1910 and 12 in 1920 census.
5. Frank E, aged 7 in 1920 census, living with parents in 1930 census
