From the Portsmouth Daily Chronicle, dated Thurs. 29 Aug, 1895:
The annual reunion of the 27th Maine regiment occurred at Waterboro, ME on 27 Aug, and the following officers were elected:
Pres: W.S.Dunn of Portland (Co.C)
V.P's: Capt J.W.Getchell (Co.E) of Berry's Mills and Capt J.F.Warren (Co.E) of Buxton
Secret: W.R.Hasty (Co.A) of Saco
Treas: Joseph T Mason (Co.F) of Biddeford
Exec Committ: H.H.Burbank, J.F.Warren, George W Gerrish, N.O.Spinney, I.M.Emery, M.S.Hurd, N.N.Hurd, C.H.Morton, A.F.Smith, and George L Smith
It was voted to hold the next annual reunion at Kittery, and this will make the fourth time that Kittery has been so honored.
