From the Portsmouth Herald dated Friday, 10 August, 1900:

Biddeford's special observance of Old Home Week took place Thursday and chief among the guests were the veterans of the 27th Maine regiment, who had selected the place for holding their regimental reunion.

NOTE: Not held on the usual day of 27 August set for the annual reunions, this meeting was probably held at a different time to coincide with this special Old Home Week in Biddeford that many were going to attend.
