From the Portsmouth Herald, dated Wed. 27 Aug, 1919 (pg 2 - Kittery notes):
Mrs Abbie Briard, Mrs Sarah Trefethen, Mrs J.H.Gerry and Mrs Martha Fernald attended the 27th Maine reunion at Kennebunk today.
From the Daily Kennebec Journal, 29 August 1919:
Kennebunkport: 26 survivors of the 27th Maine regiment.....attended the 37th annual reunion Wednesday....
Officers elected:
Henry B Pierce, president
David H Brackett, vice pres.
Joseph Keene of Kittery, secretary and treasurer
7 members have died during the past year. The next reunion will be held here August 27th 1920.
