This website was created to honor my great-great-great grandfather, James William Brown of Company G (at right, in an 1863 photo), and all those who served alongside him for those 10 months with the 27th Maine Volunteer Infantry Regiment.

I would love to hear from any descendants of these 27th Maine soldiers, or receive information (and photos) pertaining to them. I have researched all of the men, and have made biography pages for many on here. If you do not see a page for them, please ask, as I have data collected for them.
