25 August 1882, at Old Orchard
From the Bangor Daily Whig and Courier dated Wednesday, 16 August 1882:
The 27th Maine Regiment will hold a reunion at Old Orchard August 25th. The headquarters of the regiment will be at Central Hall during the day. It is proposed to form a regimental association and all members are requested to meet at Central Hall at 12 o'clock noon on that day. It is hoped that every living member will be present. The committee are H.H.Burbank of Saco, Moses S Hurd of North Berwick, Cyrus G Marr of Cornish and Josiah Chase of Portland.
Monday, 27 August 1883, at Old Orchard

Second reunion of the 27th Maine Regimental Association will be held at the Music Hall (post office bldg), Old Orchard, Aug 27th. The association will be called to order at 12 o'clock noon. Dinner will be served at Lane's Restaurant at 2:00. The comrades are invited to take their ladies with them.
