On 22 Dec 1870 in Haverhill, Essex, MA [MA VR v226 p186] he was married to EMMA F WINCHELL, the daughter of William and Hannah. She was born ca May 1844 in Glenburn, ME [1900 census; marr rec], and may have died while living in Denver, Colorado [Frank was 'single' in 1920 census]. She may have been sent home for burial, as her name is seen on the family stone in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
Frank lived the early part of his life in York, Maine, but had removed to Haverhill, MA by 1869-70, where he was employed as a house carpenter and builder [street dir; 1870 census; marr rec]. He lived in the city until at least 1894 [st dir], whereafter he and his wife moved out west to Denver, Colorado. The 1900 census there shows him as an operator and owner and some kind of mine and mill (hard to read page). By 1920, he was working here as a manager of an automobile company or shop (census doesn't elaborate). He was back in New England by 1930, when he died in Portsmouth, NH [NARA card]. City directories still need to be viewed to narrow down Frank's arrival in Port City.
Frank and Emma had only one child, a daughter, who died very young:
I. LILLIE F CAME was born ca 1 Feb 1872 in Haverhill [birth rec not yet found], and died in same city on 14 Feb 1872 at the age of 14 days from spinal disease [MA VR v247 p227]. She is buried in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
