Charles Davis

CHARLES D DAVIS was born in Parsonsfield, Maine on 5 May 1844 [Hist of Parsonsfield, pg 373], the son of Jeremiah and Eliza (Day) Davis. He died in Reading, MA on 11 June 1909, aged 65 yrs, 1 mo, 6 das [MA vr], and was buried in Riverside Cemetery (aka Kezar Falls Burial Ground) in Porter, Maine.

He was first married to JULIA A WEEKS, date not yet known. She was born ca 1847 and died on 24 Nov 1881 in Kezar Falls. 

He secondly married, on 19 June 1886 in Portland, Maine [ME vr], MARILLA MARY PUGSLEY. She was born on 10 June 1860 [grave], the daughter of Jeremiah and Abigail Pugsley. She died on 17 Aug 1932 [grave; 1933 Springfield City Dir] in Springfield, MA [MA Death Index]. She was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Cornish, ME with her parents.

By his first wife, Charles had two children:
i. ALTA MAY DAVIS, d. 4 Dec 1881 in Porter. She is buried in Riverside Cemetery.

ii. CLARK W DAVIS, b. May 1870 [1870 census, aged 1/12, b.May]

By wife Marilla, he had:
iii. ANN M DAVIS, b. Dec 1888 [1900 census] in Dover, NH [Marr rec]

iv. CHARLES EDWIN DAVIS, b. 10 Oct 1890 in Dover, NH [NH vr]
